Chocolate Banana Yogurt In A Reusable Pouch

Chocolate and banana are one of those combinations that can make plain yogurt feel a little more like a treat without turning it into dessert. This super-simple version uses vanilla yogurt for the creamy, sweet base, unsweetened cocoa for plenty of chocolate flavor, and Banana Spruits for a naturally fruity banana boost. It takes less than five minutes to mix together and fits perfectly into a reusable yogurt pouch. Make one pouch at a time or multiply the recipe to prep a few ahead, then keep them refrigerated until you're ready to grab one and go.

This recipe uses...

Ingredients

  • 1 reusable pouch
  • 2/3 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tsp unsweetened natural cocoa
  • 1 packet Banana Spruits (3/4 tbsp)

Bake Mode is Off

Directions

1. Get your pouch ready

Start with a clean reusable yogurt pouch. If it’s brand new, be sure to give it a thorough wash before using it for the first time.

2. Mix the chocolate banana yogurt

Add 2/3 cup vanilla yogurt, 1 teaspoon unsweetened natural cocoa powder, and 1 packet of Banana Spruits to a small bowl. Stir thoroughly until everything is completely combined and the yogurt is smooth, with no visible pockets of cocoa or banana powder.

3. Fill, chill, and enjoy

Carefully spoon or pour the yogurt into the resealable end of the pouch, then seal it securely and refrigerate until ready to eat. A small funnel can help keep things a little less messy. If you’re making several pouches, simply multiply the recipe as needed and keep them refrigerated until snack time.
