Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 teaspoons shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic, about 2 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon of any Spreggies

Bake Mode is Off

Directions

  1. Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

  2. Prepare the Garlic Butter:

Mince the garlic finely, ensuring you use fresh garlic for the best flavor. If using fresh parsley, chop it into small pieces. In a bowl, combine the butter, parmesan cheese, garlic, and parsley. Mix until the ingredients are thoroughly combined and the butter is creamy.

  3. Add the Spreggies:

Decide how you want to incorporate the Spreggies:

Option 1: Add 1/4 teaspoon of a single Spreggie to the butter mixture and mix well.

Option 2: Divide the butter mixture into three portions and add 1/8 teaspoon of a different Spreggie to each portion, creating a variety of colors. Here we used Beet, Spinach, and Carrot Spreggies.

  4. Spread the Butter:

Spread the prepared butter mixture evenly onto the slices of bread, ensuring the entire surface is coated.

  5. Bake the Garlic Bread:

Place the bread slices on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the edges of the bread begin to brown and the butter mixture is bubbly.

  6. Serve and Enjoy:

Remove the garlic bread from the oven and serve warm. Pair it with pasta, soups, or salads, or enjoy it as a standalone treat.
